Caring Hearts Conference & Retreat
“Providing Trauma, Bereavement and Missing Persons education and support for frontline professionals and caregivers.”
The team at Regina Palliative Care & Bereavement Centre are excited to announce the launch of our 1st Annual Caring Hearts Conference & Retreat on November 2-5, 2017!
We understand the ripple effects trauma can have on caretakers of survivors & the frontline professionals — those who become immediately engaged with the event(s) and provide sustained care for the survivors’ physical and emotional needs over time. Many suffer from compassion fatigue or the effects of secondary trauma. It's no surprise then that many frontline workers develop symptoms similar to those who suffered a trauma firsthand.
