Celebrity Amateur Wrestling and Clash of the Titans

The Celebrity Amateur Wrestling and Clash of the Titans event held on April 28th, the kick-off fundraiser for the 25km Fun Bike Ride and Tour de Lumsden organized by Donnie MacKay and Jardin Schnurr,  was a huge success and a great deal of fun, raising $34,000.00

The morning included an amateur wrestling match between "The Red Devil" aka Rod Balkwill of Greystone Managed Investments  and "The Rat" aka Leysa Matity of Level 10.  The match was intense but when the smoke cleared "The Rat" was the victor.

Following the wrestling match the Clash of the Titans - 300 Workout Challenge was a competition of mental and physical toughness.  Four competitors Blair Ledingham, Dan Farthing, Mike Mccullough and Blaine Pho pushed their bodies to the maximum in an effort to complete this grueling workout challenge in the fastest time.  Their efforts raised $34,000.00 for Regina Palliative Care Inc.

We extend our thanks to Dan Farthing of Level 10 Fitness for hosting and we especially acknowledge the participants for their dedication and commitment to fitness and to our cause.
