2010 Community Events

10th Annual 25km Fun Bike Ride and 2nd Annual Tour de Lumsden

On Sunday, August 22, under a cloudy sky, 30 Fun Bike Riders and 36 Tour de Lumsden Corporate Challenge partipants rode through the Qu'Appelle Valley raising over $70,000.00 in support of Regina Palliative Care Inc. and the Greystone Bereavement Center.

 

Two of Saskatchewan Roughriders favourite players ,Weston Dressler and Rob Bagg, were in attendance signing autographs for the young and young at heart rider fans in attendance.

2010 Mosaic Festival of Trees Gala and Auction

On Saturday, November 12, 2010 the Canadian Progress Club Regina Wascana once again held a fabulous Christmas spectacular for over 500 people.

 

Those in attendance particpated in the auction of beautifully decorated Christmas trees and Christmas decorations, as well as silent auction items donated by businesses in the Regina community. 

 

All proceeds from this event were in support of the programs and services delivered from the Greystone Bereavement Centre.

 

Thank you to the Canadian Progress Club Regina Wascana for their continued support of palliative care and bereavement over the past 27 years.
