Regina, Saskatchewan, September 24, 2008 - The Regina Palliative Care Inc. (RPCI) Greystone Bereavement Centre launched a new component of their website today - an online resource for people to access bereavement information and services, made possible through a $100,000 donation from Farm Credit Canada (FCC).

The new online resource is accessible through the Greystone Bereavement Centre component of the RPCI website at http://www.rpci.org/. The resource contains much needed reference material about the bereavement process and the availability of bereavement programs and services within the province and elsewhere in Canada.

"Thanks to the generous contribution from Farm Credit Canada, we are able to take a bereavement program that is based in the Regina Qu'Appelle Heath Region and extend it province-wide to individuals and their families," said Adrian Legin, President of Regina Palliative Care Inc. "Our vision is to make the website a vital resource for people in need of grief support."

FCC's donation supports Greystone Bereavement Centre's goal of contributing proactively to the health and well-being of grieving individuals and communities within Saskatchewan.

"Farm Credit Canada is honoured to work with the RPCI to help make bereavement information and support accessible to people across Saskatchewan," says FCC President and CEO Greg Stewart. "We're pleased that FCC employees, customers and their families will have bereavement support when they need it most."
